Conrad Williams was born in Warrington, UK in 1969. His latest books have all been shortlisted for various prizes with THE UNBLEMISHED winning Best Novel at the International Horror Guild Awards and THE SCALDING ROOMS Best Novella at the British Fantasy Awards. He currently lives with his family in Manchester.

New work is imminent in the shape of a story, Slitten Gorge, in the eagerly anticipated Cemetery Dance anthology THE BRITISH INVASION. He also has a new novel, ONE, coming from Virgin Books in the spring of 2009, followed by his debut as Conrad A. Williams with Solaris Books in the summer, a (very) dark fantasy novel entitled DECAY INEVITABLE.
