Flash Fiction Contest

Twilight Tales will sponsor
the 3rd annual
Flash Fiction Contest
Friday night at 10 PM.

Please bring manuscripts to compete!

• Stories should be no longer than 5 minutes, approx. 750 words.
• One submission per contestant.
• First 15 entries will compete.
• Must be present when your turn is called.
• A buzzer (or some sort of loud noise) will sound when time is up. Readers must stop immediately. Anyone who continues — even to read the next word — will be disqualified.
• Stories not completed in the time limit will not be
disqualified, but will lose points.

Judges (TBA) will award 1-10 points for three criteria:

Pacing: Does the story have a beginning,
middle and end and proper narrative arc?
Content: Does it accomplish what it sets out to do?
Style: Is it well written and presented?

Ties will be broken by the Emcee.


Prizes:

First, second and third prize winners will be published in Twilight Tales monthly online magazine.

In addition, the second and third prize winners will
receive Twilight Tales books,
and the first price winner gets $100 and a special t-shirt.
